Alkina Lodge is designed to breathe with the seasons. Passive solar heating and gas-fired hydronic heating make use of winter sunshine, so indoor temperatures can vary with the weather. We recommend bringing extra clothing. In summer, breezes from the Southern Ocean help naturally ventilate and cool the residences.

Self-contained accommodation near the Twelve Apostles
The lodges are self-catering. Before arriving, we recommend buying groceries in Colac, Apollo Bay or Port Campbell. Salt, pepper, oil, sugar, tea bags and instant coffee are provided; Nespresso coffee pods are not supplied.

For a taste of the region, visit producers along the 12 Apostles Food Artisans Trail and bring back local specialties to enjoy during your stay.
