Stayed at Kate's Place

We had a 2 night stay here, we really enjoyed it. Ambience, decor and fittings, high ceilings, good size, big gas fireplace was great as it was pretty cold, could walk into town in about 10 minutes. Would be a great summer spot, as it had big wrap around verandas.

It was clean, cosy and well equipped for our stay. Despite the cool spring days and cold nights the house was warm and cosy. The floor to ceiling windows and doors brought the outside garden views inside which is a nice touch. We didn't get to use the front verandah or barbecue due to the cold, but it would be a perfect place to enjoy a drink or three on a summers day. Wombat Hill reserve backs onto this group of properties and the main entrance is a few meters down the road from Kates place. It's well worth a visit regardless of season. And of course the main street of Daylesford is jus a minute's drive down the hill or for the adventurous and young an easy walk down and a good way to burn off calories on the way back. Thanks for having us. It was a great getaway.
