Daylesford Accommodation - Carrington House

We ran a three day workshop/retreat at the house and we were all totally in love with it! A stunning space, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and all the little things and attention to detail covered off. Even though it rained the whole time, we were very cosy. We can’t wait to go back!

Carrington House is only a short walking distance to the main street where you’ll find lovely restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops. Lovely house which caters for large groups of people, quaint garden/bbq area. This facility was clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful with our questions and handled our requests smoothly. Strongly recommend The Houses Daylesford for your next getaway. Thank you

Absolutely loved our stay, we were visiting for our wedding and had our entire bridal party and kids stay at carrington house with us! Everyone had their own bathroom and the kids were able to have a bath! The house is huge and the autumn leaves made for the perfect outdoor play for the kids! Everything was in walking distance which made coffee runs and pub dinners so easy !

We had a wonderful stay in Carrington House - it was able to comfortably fit my family who live all over Australia. The location of the house is just perfect - a stone's throw away from the best cafes and cute little shops plus everything else that Daylesford has to offer. The house itself is equipped with everything you could need, comfortable and decorated with lots of interesting art. We would definitely stay again!

We had a beautiful stay at the house to celebrate my birthday with a few friends. The lounge area is big enough to comfortably host everyone, the bedrooms are simply lovely and the beds very comfortable. Thank you!

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. House was perfect for our girls weekend away, all bedrooms had own bathroom, living area nice and spacious. Central heating kept us very comfortable. Host was terrific with communication. Highly recommend

Gorgeous house, perfect for a large group. We were with our work team and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal. Two living areas so plenty of space and very conveniently located to the supermarket, cafes, pubs etc. Highly recommend!

This place is magnificent! Absolutely perfect in every way. Styling is devine, every room personalised. Location is fantastic, right in town and within easy walking distance to Coles, liquor store, shopping, restaurants, pool, lake etc. Kitchen well equipped for a large group, and a dishwasher for all those dishes too. Plenty of parking front and back for your large group. I loved the fact all 9 bedrooms were ensuited, you have the privacy of a hotel room, but still connected to your group with the living spaces. Also importantly enough seating in living and dining for everyone. Maps, tourist brochures and even a notepad provided. Everything has been thought of, your family and or friends will love this stay!

Close to supermarket and town. The house was clean and beautifully presented. Plenty of space to have private time and having our own bathroom in each bedroom was a plus. Communication was easy. We all loved Carrington house. Thank you so much. Best holiday.

All nine bedrooms have ensuites. The dining and lounge area allows for all guests to gather and there is also a smaller sitting room. There is adequate parking both in front and at the rear. I would recommend Carrington House to anyone wanting to have an extended family get away in Daylesford.

Carrington House is a wonderful property located literally a 2 minute walk from the main street and comes complete with everything you will need for a most enjoyable and luxurious stay in Daylesford. The house is exactly as it is described and photographed and provided my family with a most memorable stay.

It's a huge house with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone had their own private space, but could also come together for team sessions in the one of two living rooms when required. Walking distance to the main street of Daylesford also came in handy to grab some lunch, dinner or a quick coffee. Would highly recommend!

Was the perfect house for us. Everyone had a bathroom and the kids could have their own room. The parents could wander up to the pub for a drink. The house is centrally located. It’s a fabulous house for large groups.

All bedrooms really similar and living area big enough for everyone. Great house for lots of people.

It was a full house but the living areas were spacious and could easily cater for 18 people. It has a second large fridge which was really convenient. Really clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay at this property again.

It was within walking distance to Coles and cafes. All the essentials were provided. Love the fact that free wifi was provided too. Communication with the host was easy. Only downside was that we couldn't get the internet working on the TV.

The place was spacious enough for everybody to have their own rooms and en-suites with large enough living areas for everybody to relax together as well. Some bad weather had caused our initial house to need repairs, but the team at The Houses notified us straight away and found an acceptable and comfortable replacement stay that was just as close to town and perfect for what we needed. Walking distance from the Main Street and a very homely feel for such a big house. Easy communication made this stay a breeze. We’d definitely stay at more of these properties - easy to deal with, clean, comfortable houses.
