Lyonville Accommodation - The Church at Lyonville

We had a wonderful family stay at this stunningly beautiful church accommodation. The restoration is absolutely breathtaking - thank you for sharing it with us. The space was cosy, warm and comforting, with everything that we needed thoughtfully provided. It was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained. The church is surrounded by autumn trees, which made for a truly magical and memorable experience. A heartfelt thank you for such a special place.

The Church was gorgeous - warm and inviting, beautifully styled by Belle Bright Project and Mother Nature with wonderful burnt autumn leaves everywhere. Would love to return.

Another fabulous few days staying at The Church topped off with glorious autumn weather and a fun filled day at the Trentham Spudfest.

Driving under the beautiful tree canopy we turned to see the picturesque Church surrounded by rose gardens. As we entered the home there were lots of oohhhs and ahhhhs as we explored all the books and trinkets that made it feel interesting and homely. We lit the fire, read books and learnt about the history of the area. The furniture and bedding are luxurious and kept us warm and cozy during the chilly nights. We loved our daily kangaroo visitors too! Highly recommend for a countryside getaway.

We’ve just finished our 7th stay at The Church, and as always, it was peaceful and relaxing. The house has a warm and welcoming environment with everything you need for a pleasant stay. What a glorious and relaxing space to chill. The house has so much character - every room had an abundance of charm. The bedding’s linen superb and beds so comfortable. The massive trees and gardens are spectacular - we played games on the lawn with drinks on the decking. One evening we had dinner at a quaint pub only a short stroll away. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful property in Lyonville, and it was truly unforgettable. The location is fantastic. The house itself was perfect in every way. The setup was so well thought out, with every detail designed for comfort and convenience. It felt like a true home away from home—warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained.This stay was a surprise from my family to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better treat. It was such a special experience.

I decided to stay at the church for my 40th with my siblings for a weekend and it was a beautiful way to spend it! Walked to the pub, sat around the fire and enjoyed the beautiful glow of the church. Beautiful bush surrounds. The welcome hamper was a lovely addition too. Thank you

A group of longtime friends gathered to celebrate my birthday with a weekend away. The property was private, secure and simply beautiful with picturesque surroundings. I was a little concerned that it only had one bathroom for 6 ladies but turns out that was not a problem at all. It was well stocked with kitchenware which was a bonus as we prepared a lovely dinner to share on one of the nights with the fire going in the background - was perfect. The only complaint from everyone was that we didn't stay longer.

Beautiful home with many thoughtful touches. Happy to report that it looked exactly like the photos. Perfect for staying in and just a short drive to Daylesford and Trentham if you can bear to leave!

Loved the freshly picked flowers on the table and the garden was also blooming and so lovely. The Church was cosy, with a fire place, good cooking facilities, good water supply ( hot and cold) and very comfortable beds. Also lots of reading material, and games. Close to everything we needed! Thankyou for having us stay at this beautiful place.

Incredibly cozy and comfortable with a fire, spa bath, comfy beds and a large and practical kitchen! Amazing stay- close to Trentham and Daylesford but more peaceful and scenic than both! Couldn't recommend the Church highly enough- we will be back.

The space was great for two couples. Plenty of thoughtful touches and easily the best welcome hamper we’ve had in a while. We had a great lunch at Passing Clouds down the road on our host’s recommendation. A beautiful place to stay and a great escape from city life.

I got ready for my wedding at the church, the location was absolutely spectacular. Everything was perfect, they provided everything we needed for our stay from firewood to some local chocolate and tea. We cannot wait to visit again.

The welcome gift was generous and the house was impeccably clean and beautifully presented. We loved looking out to the beautiful gardens and exploring the nearby towns of Trentham and Daylesford.

It was a first for my parents and sister, though, who absolutely LOVED it as much as me. It was the perfect post Mother's Day mother's day, plus a refresh and rejuvenate with all that fresh air, for my father who had heart surgery earlier this year. All in all the best place for peace and quiet, the perfect lunch or dinner spot around the corner at Radio Springs Hotel (never disappoints) and if you wanted to spend 24/7 indoors then everything is there for a truly wonderful stay.

The afternoon light floated through the stained glass windows and every moment felt like a movie. So many thoughtful touches, the most stunning garden, I felt completely at peace. Also I loved that you’ve kept the original confessional! I couldn’t recommend the church enough for a time to unwind, relax, discover nature and find yourself again
